Today’s Reading: Deuteronomy 32-34, Ezekiel 48, Revelation 21-22
Take these words to heart. From Day 1, God has poured His grace over our heads through the giving of His word. The person who will be blessed is the one who heeds the exhortation of the Scriptures and puts them into practice. The one who answers the call of repentance and walks in the ways of righteousness. These words are faithful and true.
Deuteronomy 32:44 Moses came with Joshua son of Nun and recited all the words of this song in the presence of the people. 45 After Moses finished reciting all these words to all Israel, 46 he said to them, “Take to heart all these words I am giving as a warning to you today, so that you may command your children to follow all the words of this law carefully. 47 For they are not meaningless words to you but they are your life, and by them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”
This is a new beginning. God will establish a city where His dwelling place will be with His people. We are accountable to the words spoken to us in the Scriptures down the generations from our brothers the prophets. We must faithfully keep the words of this book! Worship God!
Revelation 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 I also saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband. 3 Then I heard a loud voice from the throne: Look, God’s dwelling is with humanity, and he will live with them. They will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them and will be their God. 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away.
The final blessing from the Scriptures is one of grace. I pray that your reverence, prayer language, intimate fellowship with God, and love for your neighbor has grown over the course of this devotion. May God abundant spirit of gratitude fill your hearts and result in an obedience, holy, and righteous walk that you are faithful to pass down the generations to your children and your children’s children.
Revelation 22:21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with everyone. Amen.
Prayer: Gracious Father, thank You for Your grace. Thank You for giving me the heart to appreciate Your grace and the promises of Your Word. Draw me near to You. Walk with me as I begin afresh a new day and seek Your face. In Jesus name, Amen.
Did this post bless you? What questions do you have about grace? Do you know the promises God gives to those who put their faith in Christ?
I was indeed a blessing!
God Bless you Bishop!
Great work!
